The DS&O Storm Center will keep you informed on current major outages in our service area and give you vital information on how to prepare before a storm ever hits.

In Kansas we can experience a variety of weather catastrophes: ice storms, tornadoes, severe thunderstorms, floods, etc. And, severe weather across Kansas can effect power delivery across the entire state. All of these factors can result in extended power outages. When outages do occur, DS&O responds immediately and works as quickly as possible to restore your service.

You can help your family "weather" the storm by preparing them and your home before an outage occurs. The information is this storm center will help you prepare a plan and let you know what emergency supplies to keep on hand for an extended outage or evacuation.
